Favorite Concert Experience:
I saw Greta Van Fleet in Madison, Wisconsin in 2019. It was my very first “real” concert (and no that Andy Grammer concert at the county fair does not count!) I bought tickets for my dad’s birthday in February although the actual concert was not until June, so I was hardcore geeking about it for months. The day before the concert, my parents surprised my younger brother with a ticket to join us which made the day even more special :) The concert rocked, to say the least- they are so incredibly talented! I had such an awesome time and was cheesin’ all the way home.
Hobbies / Interests / Fun Facts / Campus Involvement:
Outside of coordinating production, I work at the Voxman School of Music building in the recording studio where I record university students/faculty throughout the year. I love my job because I have the opportunity to work with some incredible people while learning more about the intricacies of audio recording. I also really enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with my besties. Lastly, my record for solving a Rubick’s cube is fifty-eight seconds and I am constantly in search of the world’s greatest hamburger!
The Deep Cuts
At any given moment in time if you asked me who my favorite artist is I may give you a range of answers from Jim Croce to Still Woozy to Prince. All that is to say I live in a world consisting of older classic rock/folk to new age jazz fusion fluff with an alternative twang of poetry accompanied by synths and electric guitar?? Simple… right? As you might have assumed, narrowing down my fav genre, artist, and album has always been challenging because there is constantly something that sends me down a rabbit hole of new obsessions. Ultimately this playlist is a snapshot of songs I can’t seem to get enough of right now. I absolutely love making playlists in my free time and this one was no exception! I think a curated playlist can tell you a lot about a person, a feeling, or a moment in time so lmk what you gather from this one :) Clear the next 2hrs and 7mins for me
happy listening! xoxo
