The Deep Cuts
My SCOPE Selects playlist is a culmination of some of my favorite songs over the years, and songs that I feel have become a part of my anatomy, honestly. I threw in some old favorites, some new favorites, and some music that I want to give some love to. I took the liberty of not including musical theater, so for that I expect some gratitude. I almost feel like I’m opening up a part of my heart to whoever listens to this playlist, so please only show me love! I can’t take any heat for this - it’s way too personal. Favorite Concert Experience
KESHA! I will not switch up on this, and I feel like I might talk about this concert a little bit too much. I saw Kesha at the 80/35 music festival in Des Moines back in 2018. It was one of the best nights of my life. That period of time for her and her career was so pivotal to her growth as a person and an artist, and celebrating her success and supporting how greatly she champions survival and strength as a woman was such a privilege. I was surrounded by one of the coolest crowds of people I’ve seen at a show, and we all sang and danced together as the glitter and confetti poured out of the sky. Honestly, it was such a dream. AND! She started her set by getting out of a rocket ship. If you ever have the opportunity to go see her perform, please take it! It will seriously light you up and low-key heal your inner child.

When I’m not SCOPE-ing, I’m most likely spending time with my friends and avoiding responsibility! I’m sort of joking. I’m a responsible and involved student and everyone loves it. I’ve also recently gotten back into GarageBand, and I’m sort of a genius? If anyone has a verse, you know who to call.
